At Unlocking Abilities Behavior and Learning we specialize in implementing Applied Behavioral Analysis (or ABA) to children with behavioral and developmental disorders, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder. We only utilize the most effective, evidence-based strategies and teaching methods that ABA has to offer. We are committed to providing the most compassionate, fun, and high quality of care that every child deserves.
We believe the best way to reach a child is to really know a child and meet them at their level. For us, that means working along side the people in the child's life, from parents, to teachers, to support professionals. It really does "take a village" and together we can empower kids and their villages with the knowledge and tools necessary to achieve milestones and unlock their true abilities.

Autism Learning Center : Day Program
Preschool Environment • Morris, IL
Our Autism Learning Center in Morris, IL has two programs to choose from. Our day program is ideal for learners between the ages of 2 and 7 years old. Our preschool based environment prepares learners for what our local schools will be expecting of them.
Our therapists work with clients on a 1:1 basis, creating deep and meaningful connections to help your child thrive.
Autism Learning Center: After School
School Aged Environment • Morris, IL
Our Autism Learning Center in Morris, IL has two programs to choose from.
Our after-school program is an individualized ABA therapy program for school-aged children with the intent to continue to hone school-readiness skills, increase both communication and social skills, and decrease maladaptive behaviors that may be impeding learning.

We believe that you, (the parent) and all of the loving people in your child's life are the most critical key to your child's success. That is why our parent-training program is a critical component in every child's treatment plan. This program empowers families to understand and participate in their child's growth and build confidence by providing proven methods for handling challenging circumstances and behaviors.

Our highly trained BCBA, with backgrounds in education, will collaborate with educators to increase their knowledge of ABA and their ability to implement its methods to increase positive behaviors in all students, resulting in measurable academic gains for the school and the students. We carefully adapt our services to the specific needs and concerns of each individual, classroom, school, and district by developing highly individualized recommendations and plans.

Professional Development • In-Service Trainings
Unlocking Abilities is proud to offer professional development workshops and in-service trainings to teachers, paraprofessionals, and other members of educational staff on a wide range of topics. We also customize trainings and provide specific intervention-focused trainings. Topics can include the basics of ABA, behavioral strategies, classroom management strategies, conducting FBA's, and implementing BIP's.
